Mewgenics Team Builds

The most reliable squads in Mewgenics are built around job coverage: one cat soaks pressure, one cat carries scaling damage, one cat fixes positioning or healing, and the last slot either doubles a winning trait line or patches a matchup weakness. Teams with four "good" cats but no shared plan underperform constantly.

Easy Team Blueprint

Frontliner + carry + utility + flex is a strong default for most runs and keeps trait synergies manageable.

If your carry cat needs setup time, bring at least one control or healing effect that buys two safe turns.

The flex slot should amplify an existing win condition instead of introducing a second disconnected build.

Rebuild only one slot at a time. Swapping half the team between fights destroys the trait value you already banked.

Team strength grows when every new addition answers an obvious need. Randomly strong cats do not automatically make a strong squad.

The safest upgrades are the ones your current cats immediately understand. Anything that needs the whole roster to change at once is probably too expensive.

Good team building is therefore less about collecting power and more about removing friction between the cats you already trust.
